As part of the 66th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements, a panel titled “Large Language Models for the Serbian Language – Importance, Application, Potential” was held, featuring our Senior Research Associate and Assistant Director for Cooperation with Industry, Dr. Dragiša Mišković.
During the discussion, the panelists explored the development and application of large language models for the Serbian language, their significance in modern society, practical applications in various industries, and their potential for future development. Dr. Mišković emphasized the importance of these models in enhancing technological solutions that support the Serbian language. He also provided a detailed overview of current projects and research being conducted at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, noting that the Institute is actively working on developing language models tailored to the specific needs of the Serbian language and culture, highlighting their role in preserving linguistic heritage and improving digital literacy.
