IVI Among the Organizers of Embedded Vision Workshop 2026 at CVPR 2026

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia participated in organizing the international “Embedded Vision Workshop 2026”, held in Denver, USA, as part of the prestigious CVPR 2026 (Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition).

The Embedded Vision Workshop has been organized since 2005 in collaboration with CVPR and ICCV conferences and represents one of the key meeting points for researchers and experts in the fields of computer vision, artificial intelligence, and embedded systems.

This year’s workshop focused on the theme “Energy-Efficient Embedded Vision”, with an emphasis on developing energy-efficient systems for real-time visual data processing on embedded devices.

The workshop’s Organizing Committee included Dr. Branislav Kisačanin, a chief AI evangelist at IVI. The event brought together researchers and professionals from various fields, including robotics, intelligent systems, and embedded technologies.

Embedded vision is one of the most dynamic research areas today, as it combines efficient machine learning models with advanced computer vision and pattern recognition algorithms. A major challenge in this field is developing systems capable of understanding complex visual scenes while operating under limited computational resources and meeting real-time processing requirements on embedded devices.

IVI’s involvement in organizing this international event highlights the Institute’s active role in the global research community and its contribution to advancing cutting-edge technologies in the fields of computer vision and artificial intelligence.
