Data and Artificial Intelligence: Accelerating the Potential of Biotechnology!

As part of the “BioTech Future Forum”, a panel discussion titled “Data and Artificial Intelligence: Accelerating the Potential of Biotechnology” took place. The discussion was led by Dr. Branka Rakic, the team lead of the research group “AI in Healthcare & LifeScience” at IVI. The panel commenced with a video address by Dr. Guruduth Banavar, the Chief Technical Officer and Head of VI at Viome.

The transformative power of data, advancements in biotechnology, and innovations in healthcare and biomedicine were explored by the following experts:

• Dr. Lu Zeng, Head of the Department for Value-Based Partnerships and Digital Health for Europe and Canada at Takeda.
• Dr. Aleks Aliper, President of Insilico Medicine.
• Prof. Miroslava Cuperlović-Culf, Senior Research Officer at the National Research Council of Canada.

The second International “BioTech Future Forum” brought together over 500 participants and featured more than 40 speakers, including government officials, business leaders, and leading scientists from around the world. The event was organized by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and UNDP, with the support of the BIO4 Campus.
