Serbia is steadily strengthening its position on the global artificial intelligence stage, but to keep pace with the rapid advancements in this field, continuous knowledge enhancement and skill development are essential.

Researchers from the “Human-Machine Interaction” group emphasize in their interview for HelloWorld.rs how crucial it is to pursue personal and professional growth in the domain of AI technologies.

The “Human-Machine Interaction” group focuses on developing innovative solutions that enable more efficient and natural communication between humans and intelligent systems. Their research spans various areas, including natural language processing, speech understanding, computer vision, AI-based interfaces, and ethics in AI technologies. The goal is to create technologies that not only enhance the efficiency of existing systems but also improve how people interact with machines in both everyday life and professional environments.

“We can view artificial intelligence models as an upgrade that boosts individual productivity and simplifies daily tasks. Over time, the need for workers in certain professions will decrease, but at the same time, new jobs will be created, and I believe that as a society, we are at a net advantage. The only prerequisite for this is to continually work on personal improvement because we are definitely facing growing competition,” says Dr. Dragiša Mišković, Assistant Director for Business Cooperation at the AI Institute of Serbia.
