IVI Participant in the Round Table “IT Industry 2030: Knowledge and Skills Required by the Market”

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia took part in the round table “IT Industry 2030: Knowledge and Skills Required by the Market”, organized by the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education.

The event focused on aligning the higher education system with the rapid development of the IT industry and artificial intelligence, as well as identifying the knowledge and skills that will be essential for the labor market in the coming decade. The discussion brought together representatives of the IT industry, academia, and the national accreditation body.

At the round table, the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia was represented by Dr. Milan Stojković, Senior Research Associate, who spoke about the importance of adapting educational programs to contemporary technological trends and industry needs.

During the discussion, participants emphasized the need for modern and flexible study programs, greater inclusion of practical training, the development of dual education models, and stronger cooperation between universities and industry. Particular emphasis was placed on enabling students to acquire concrete, applicable knowledge and competencies already during their studies, preparing them for work in the modern IT sector.

By participating in this round table, the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia continued to contribute to the dialogue between the education system and industry, with the goal of developing professionals ready to meet the challenges of digital transformation, rapid technological change, and the further growth of the IT industry.
