The conference “Innovations in the Age of Artificial Intelligence – Serbia’s Perspective” took place at the Palace of Science in Belgrade, organized by the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia and the European Patent Office, with the support of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia.
Artificial intelligence, as one of the main drivers of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, brings numerous challenges in the realm of invention law and intellectual property rights. Through lectures and discussions, conference participants had the opportunity to explore the latest trends, statistical data on AI-related patent applications in Serbia, and the implementation of AI in the operations of domestic companies.
Particularly noteworthy was the panel discussion, where panelists from various sectors shared their experiences and perspectives on AI innovations. The discussion focused on the challenges of patenting AI solutions, as well as the future development of legislation and practices, both at the national and international levels.By supporting this event, theInstitute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia reaffirmed its commitment to fostering innovation and creating a regulatory framework that will enable the practical application of artificial intelligence, while respecting intellectual property rights and ethical standards.
