The 11th PSIML Summer School Brings Together the Next Generation of AI Researchers

The 11th “PSIML – Summer School on Scientific Machine Learning” will bring together participants from Serbia and abroad over 12 days, with a shared interest in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and modern methods for applying these technologies in scientific research.

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence Research and Development of Serbia is supporting this year’s Summer School, while Luka Panić, a research trainee at the Institute, will contribute to the programme by sharing his knowledge and experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning with the participants.

The PSIML programme covers a broad range of topics, from the fundamentals of machine learning and neural networks to large language models and agentic systems, as well as computer vision, speech processing, and embodied AI. Following the lectures and training sessions, participants will work on their own projects with the support of mentors and access to GPU resources. The Summer School will conclude with presentations of the projects developed during the programme.

This year’s PSIML brings together lecturers and experts from leading international companies, research institutions, and universities. By supporting educational and scientific initiatives such as PSIML, the Institute contributes to the development of the AI community, knowledge exchange, and the education of the next generation of AI professionals.
