IVI at HIC 2026 in Spain

Junior research assistant at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia Luka Vinokić, participated in “HIC 2026 – 16th International Conference on Hydroinformatics”, held in Zaragoza, Spain. The conference is one of the leading international events dedicated to hydroinformatics and the application of digital technologies in the field of water resources management.

As part of the special session “Water System Operation and Digital Twin”, focused on the application of advanced digital solutions and data-driven technologies for improving water system management, Luka Vinokić presented the research paper “Agreement-based ML-assisted algorithm for anomaly detection and data recovery in urban drainage system sensor data.

The conference “HIC 2026” brought together researchers, engineers, and professionals from around the world with the aim of fostering knowledge exchange and developing innovative approaches in hydroinformatics, including the application of artificial intelligence, digital twins, advanced data analytics, and other emerging technologies for building sustainable and climate-resilient water systems.

Participation in this international conference represents a valuable contribution to the exchange of scientific knowledge and the strengthening of international collaboration, while also highlighting the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia’s commitment to developing and applying AI-based solutions for improving the management of urban water systems.
