Applications for the Forum of Industry and Academia are now open!

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, in cooperation with the Faculty of Technical Sciences at the University of Novi Sad and the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, is organizing the second Forum of Industry and Academia – FTN FORUM 2: Smart Solutions for Society 5.0, with support from the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Serbia and the Japanese Business Alliance.

The event will take place on November 27, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m., at the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad. This year’s forum will bring together representatives from government institutions, international organizations, academia, and industry, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the business sector and the scientific and research community.

The central theme of this year’s forum is “Smart Solutions for Society 5.0”, an innovative Japanese concept that integrates digital technologies with social development to enhance quality of life and create a sustainable environment for future generations. Through keynote lectures, panel discussions, and networking sessions, participants will explore the potential for applying Society 5.0 principles in Serbia and the wider region, with a focus on innovation and human-centered technological solutions.

The forum will feature panels covering key areas:

• Smart Cities
• Smart Factories
• Smart Healthcare

This multidisciplinary program will foster the exchange of insights and best practices, as well as identify new opportunities for collaboration between industry, academia, and public institutions.
