Our researchers, Dr. Ilija Kamenko and Jovan Ivošević, took part in the Kick-off meeting of the ECLIPSE project, held at the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) headquarters in Povo, Trento, Italy.
The meeting marked the official launch of a project that brings together 22 European partners under the Horizon Europe – Cluster 3 program.
ECLIPSE is a European initiative dedicated to combating hate speech and mis/disinformation, both online and offline. The project combines cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies with insights from social, behavioral, criminological, and legal sciences to develop concrete, validated tools that help professionals and citizens identify and effectively respond to hate speech and misinformation.
Pilot activities will be carried out in Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Turkey, through a multilingual approach and sustainable solutions applicable across Europe and beyond.
The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia is proud to be part of this important European initiative that bridges artificial intelligence, social impact, and international collaboration.
