IVI Engages in International Collaboration on AI and Internet of Things

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia is participating in a major international research initiative titled “Research on Task-oriented Artificial Intelligence of Things”, implemented under the Intergovernmental International Cooperation in Science and Technological Innovation framework of the National Key Research and Development Program.

The project’s kick-off meeting brought together distinguished institutions:

  • Tongji University (TJU);
  • University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC);
  • University of Novi Sad (UNS);
  • The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia (IVI).

As part of the project’s knowledge exchange activities, the Institute is also contributing to the National Foreign Expert Program focused on AI-enabled Dynamic Wireless Communication Technologies, funded by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

Special recognition goes to our colleague Dr. Dragiša Mišković, team lead of the “Human-Computer Interaction” research group, who has been appointed as one of the international experts for the 2025–2026 program, alongside researchers from TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology) and City University of Hong Kong.

This partnership marks an important step in strengthening international collaboration and further positioning the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia within the global AI research community, with the goal of making a lasting impact on the development of next-generation technologies.
