IVI at the Second Italy-Serbia Scientific Forum

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia had the honor of participating in the Second Italy-Serbia Scientific Forum held in Trieste. The event brought together scientific experts, representatives of academia and industry, and policymakers from both countries to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration in areas of strategic importance.

Our director, Prof. Dr. Dubravko Ćulibrk, participated in a panel discussion titled “Advancements in Healthcare: At the Intersection of Biomedicine and Artificial Intelligence”, where he presented the Institute’s key projects and innovations in this field. The panel provided a platform to discuss the potential applications of artificial intelligence in biomedicine, including improving diagnostics, personalized therapies, and optimizing healthcare systems.

The forum was an opportunity to showcase innovative research and establish new bridges of cooperation between scientific institutions, industry, and academia. The exchange of experiences with Italian partners further reinforced a shared vision of advancing healthcare through modern technologies.

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence continues to solidify its position as a regional leader, particularly in connecting scientific research with practical applications in biomedicine and healthcare.

We look forward to new challenges and opportunities for joint development, confident that collaborations like this will yield tangible results that contribute to the betterment of society as a whole.
