IVI at the Jahorina Business Forum 2025

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia participated in the Jahorina Business Forum 2025, which brought together prominent experts in the fields of artificial intelligence, industry, and management. This year’s forum focused on the challenges and opportunities brought by Industry 4.0, with a particular emphasis on the application of artificial intelligence in modern business.

During the plenary session titled “Industry 4.0 – Management Challenges, Digital Trends, and the Use of Artificial Intelligence” Professor Dr. Dubravko Ćulibrk, Director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, presented the Institute’s mission, current projects, and future plans aimed at advancing and applying AI technologies in the real sector.

Following the introductory presentations, the panel discussion “Artificial Intelligence in Industry: Innovation or Challenge?” addressed key issues related to the implementation of AI in business, including the transformation of industrial processes and the skills required for a successful transition to digitally driven operations.

The panel was moderated by Dr. Dejan Mirčetić, Research Associate at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia. Throughout the discussion, participants highlighted various perspectives on AI integration in industry, encouraged the exchange of experiences, and shared examples of best practices.

The forum concluded with a shared understanding that artificial intelligence is a powerful driver of innovation, but its successful implementation requires a well-defined strategy, continuous development of human capital, and strong cross-sector collaboration.
