IVI at DSC Serbia 2025

Researchers from the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia took part in the Data Science Conference Serbia 2025, one of the region’s most prominent events dedicated to artificial intelligence and data analytics. Throughout the conference, they presented cutting-edge research, technological trends, and innovations that are shaping the future of intelligent systems.

Among the speakers was Dr. Milovan Medojević, Research Associate and Team Lead of the Intelligent Manufacturing Systems research group. In his talk, he highlighted the key challenges and opportunities in developing intelligent industrial solutions and their influence on advanced manufacturing processes.

Particular attention was drawn to a breakout session featuring Research Associate Dr. Velibor Ilić, who spoke about the technologies transforming the automotive industry. The session focused on the evolution of autonomous vehicles—from advanced driver-assistance systems to fully autonomous driving. Dr. Ilić presented the latest approaches in sensor data processing, advanced algorithms, and AI methods that enable vehicles to interpret real-world driving conditions. Special emphasis was placed on safety, testing, and the rigorous validation procedures required to ensure that autonomous vehicles are reliable for everyday use.

Through dynamic presentations and discussions, the Institute’s researchers demonstrated how modern AI solutions can redefine industry standards and drive progress in sectors such as healthcare, logistics, energy, and education.
