EEML 2024: A Fusion of Talent and Innovation for the Future

In July 2024, Novi Sad proudly hosted the prestigious Eastern European Machine Learning Summer School (EEML 2024). This remarkable event brought together over 190 exceptional talents from 47 countries, making it one of the most significant gatherings for the global AI community. Organized by our institute in collaboration with researchers from Google DeepMind, EEML 2024 placed Serbia at the heart of the global AI ecosystem.

The program featured lectures by world-renowned experts such as Yee Whye Teh, Michael Bronstein, Razvan Pascanu, and Sander Dieleman. Discussions covered topics ranging from deep learning and generative AI to geometric models.

In addition to lectures, participants engaged in hands-on workshops, poster sessions, and debates addressing AI in science, fairness, and entrepreneurship. The event inspired all attendees, offering invaluable knowledge, opportunities to establish new connections, and fostering a shared vision for the future of artificial intelligence.
