As part of the lecture series “Boundaries and Opportunities: Artificial Intelligence in Education, Culture, and Society”, the Youth Center of Belgrade will host a panel titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Natural, Technical, and Social Sciences”, dedicated to exploring the role and impact of artificial intelligence in contemporary society.
At this event, Ana Samac, research assistant at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, will deliver a lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence for a Safer Future: How Digital Models Protect Cities and Build Citizens’ Trust”. In her presentation, she will showcase current applications of artificial intelligence in environmental protection and risk management, with particular focus on the challenges posed by climate change, including increasingly frequent floods and water quality degradation.
The panel brings together experts from academia, education, and research sectors, aiming to foster dialogue and knowledge exchange on current technological and societal issues. Through the diverse perspectives of the participants, the event will provide a space to discuss the potential applications of artificial intelligence across various fields, as well as its broader social implications.
