The first Innovation Forum Serbia – Switzerland was held at the Palace of Serbia, bringing together experts from the fields of science, technology, and innovation from both countries. The event aimed to enhance collaboration between Serbia and Switzerland in areas that play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare and innovation.
Dr. Branka Rakić, Assistant Director for Biotechnology at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence Serbia, participated in a panel titled “Serbia and Switzerland: Shaping the Future of Healthcare – From Innovation to Impact”. During the discussion, prominent experts from the fields of medicine and industry emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence in healthcare systems, the role of the BIO4 ecosystem in advancing health technologies, and how modern technology can ease the workload of medical professionals while contributing to higher-quality healthcare.
Dr. Rakić highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in creating personalized solutions for patients, accelerating diagnostics, and optimizing medical processes. Special emphasis was placed on projects within the BIO4 ecosystem, which connects science, industry, and medical practice to foster the development of innovative healthcare solutions.
The Innovation Forum Serbia – Switzerland was organized by the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Technological Development, the Embassy of Switzerland, the Science and Technology Park Belgrade, and the Center for the Promotion of Science.
