Artificial Intelligence for Modern Agriculture

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia welcomed the Climate Crops team for a meeting focused on the potential of artificial intelligence in agriculture and on bringing together expertise in agronomy and advanced technologies.

The discussion covered the application of digital image and video processing, remote sensing, and artificial intelligence in crop analysis, as well as yield component assessment and the automation of data processing and analysis from field trials.

These technologies offer new opportunities for more efficient data collection, processing, and interpretation, while supporting the development of new data-driven approaches to agricultural research.

Particular attention was given to the potential of combining expertise in agronomy and artificial intelligence to advance methods for monitoring and analysing agricultural processes.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas on potential areas for future collaboration. The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia and the Climate Crops team will continue to explore opportunities for joint research activities and the development of new technological solutions for agriculture.
