The global challenge of arsenic contamination in drinking water, along with potential solutions, will be the focus of the international symposium “Arsenic in Drinking Water – A Global Issue and Answers to the Challenges”, which will bring together leading national and international experts in the field.
Participants will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences on drinking water quality challenges, modern arsenic removal technologies, as well as best practices from Serbia, China, the Netherlands, and Greece. Special attention will be given to the application of artificial intelligence and digital solutions in water resource management.
The program includes lectures, expert discussions, and a panel dedicated to regulation and the implementation of practical solutions. The symposium will also provide an opportunity for networking and collaboration among researchers, professionals, and decision-makers in the fields of water resource management and environmental protection.
The symposium will take place on April 20, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM, at Kneza Miloša 9 (3rd floor) in Belgrade.
