MLC2025: Science, Innovation, and the Strategic Vision of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia

At the prestigious Machine Learning Conference 2025 (MLC2025), held in Palić, the central theme was “AI for the Real World.” The event’s opening was marked by a keynote lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Dubravko Ćulibrk, Acting Director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia.

In his introductory talk, Prof. Ćulibrk presented the Institute’s key achievements over the four years since its founding. He placed particular emphasis on fundamental research in machine learning, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare, smart industry, and the development of sustainable technologies.

Prof. Ćulibrk also highlighted the Institute’s most significant projects, implemented in collaboration with universities, industry partners, and public sector institutions. These examples best illustrate how the Institute fulfills its mission: turning cutting-edge scientific research into innovation with clear and measurable impact on societal and economic development.

By participating in MLC2025, the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia once again reaffirmed its role as a leading force in the national and regional AI ecosystem, demonstrating its commitment to scientific excellence, technological advancement, and the strategic development of Serbia’s digital future.
