AI-WELD: Welding Automation Using Collaborative Robots

AI-WELD is a bilateral project under the European Territorial Cooperation program – Interreg, implemented in collaboration with the Center of Competence for Advanced Engineering (CEKOM) from Croatia. The project’s goal is to develop an advanced system for automated welding using collaborative robots and computer vision algorithms powered by artificial intelligence.

The main idea behind the AI-WELD project stems from the increasing need for welding automation, driven by global trends indicating a gradual shift away from manual and physical labor.
