IVI Participates in the “AI Skills for SMEs – The Future of Work” Event in Ljubljana

As part of the embrAIsme project, the third interregional event, titled “AI Skills for SMEs: The Future of Work,” was successfully held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. The event brought together AI experts, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), policymakers, and industry leaders from across Europe. Over two days, participants discussed how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of work for SMEs through inspiring talks, interactive sessions, and study visits.

Key Highlights of the Event:

  • Inspiring Talks: Among the distinguished speakers was Dr. Emilija Stojmenova Duh, Associate Professor at the University of Ljubljana and former Minister for Digital Transformation, who shared insights on the role of AI in modern business.
  • Collaborative Sessions: Through interactive workshops and panel discussions, participants exchanged experiences on AI implementation, digital transformation, and the future of the workforce, fostering interregional collaboration.
  • Study Visits: The delegation visited the Jožef Stefan Institute and the Technology Forum, where they had the opportunity to witness first-hand the latest AI research and technological applications in Slovenia.
