Organized by the University of Bologna, the event brought together leading scientists, industry experts, and policymakers with the goal of fostering knowledge exchange and connecting science, policy, and industry in the fields of chemistry, materials, and nanotechnologies. Dr. Ili\u0107 took part as both an opening keynote speaker and a panelist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his keynote lecture, titled <strong>\u201cThe Future of AI in Chemical Materials\u201d<\/strong>, Dr. Ili\u0107 shared visionary perspectives on the role of artificial intelligence in the development and application of new chemical materials. He highlighted how AI technologies are transforming research methodologies, accelerating development processes, and creating opportunities for safer and more sustainable innovations\u2014from laboratory experiments to industrial-scale production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to his lecture, Dr. Ili\u0107 participated in the panel discussion<strong> \u201cStrategic Alignment &amp; Forward Visioning with Focus on AI, Policy, and Industry\u201d<\/strong>, which addressed the need to align AI development with policy frameworks and industrial priorities, with a particular emphasis on sustainability and ethical implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference also featured the official launch of the <strong>CheMatSustain Facility<\/strong>\u2014an open-access platform designed for policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and the public.
