IVI Supports M3 Event Again This Year

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia is once again a proud partner of the May Month of Mathematics (M3) event. This year, the Cultural Station Svilara Gallery in Novi Sad hosted an exhibition titled “Biotechnology: Algorithms of Nature”, offering a unique perspective on the fusion of biology and technology through interactive installations inspired by natural algorithms.

In addition to the exhibition, the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia significantly contributed to the M3 event with a lecture titled “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacology”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ivan Tanasijević, head of the IVI Belgrade office, providing insights into the latest applications of AI technologies in the design of therapeutic peptides and small molecules, and their impact on pharmacology and medical research. Dr. Tanasijević shared his experiences and research, highlighting how AI can contribute to the development of more efficient and precise medical treatments.

The M3 event is organized by the Center for the Promotion of Science (CPN) and the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU), with support from the Cultural Station Svilara and the Science Club Novi Sad. The event aims to connect the scientific community, artists, and the general public through a series of lectures, workshops, and exhibitions that promote interdisciplinary approaches and innovations.
Visitors to the “Biotechnology: Algorithms of Nature” exhibition and the lecture had the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of biotechnology and artificial intelligence and to participate in discussions about the future of these technologies and their impact on our lives.
