The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia participated in the symposium “Artificial Intelligence in Medicine”, organized by the Academy of Medical Sciences of the Serbian Medical Society and the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Serbia at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade.
During the event, our junior research assistant Ilija Tanaskovic delivered a presentation on the application of artificial intelligence in the analysis of biomedical signals and images. His lecture covered the latest techniques and approaches that enable advanced analysis of medical data, thereby improving diagnosis and patient treatment.
The goal of this symposium was to bring together doctors and engineers to further develop this current and rapidly advancing field. Participants had the opportunity to hear presentations from top experts and discuss the latest achievements and challenges in applying artificial intelligence in medicine.
The symposium “Artificial Intelligence and Medicine” provided a unique opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and ideas between doctors and engineers, which is a crucial step towards improving healthcare and medical research through the application of artificial intelligence. This event emphasized the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to solving complex medical problems, highlighting how AI can contribute to the development of more precise and efficient healthcare.
